About San Lorenzo

San Lorenzo is a city in the south of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, located 350 km north of Buenos Aires, on the western shore of the Paraná River. Its outstanding location -at the end of the Industrial Corridor of the Argentine littoral- is where 30 years ago top crushing factories, processing industries, petrochemical industries and minerals industries decided to set up their main production plants to have their port terminals right next to them not only in San Lorenzo, but also in the nearby cities (Timbúes, Puerto General San Martin, Rosario, Arroyo Seco).
With more than 20 port terminals, San Lorenzo has the largest export outlets in Argentina for primary products (soybean, wheat, maize, etc.) and this area is known worldwide as the biggest crushing pole.
